The Cape of  Good Hope (Afrikaans: die Kaap van Goeie Hoop), Table Mountain National Park, is a rocky headland on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula, South Africa.
There is a misconception that the Cape of Good Hope is the southern tip of Africa, because it was once believed to be the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. In fact, the southernmost point is Cape Agulhas, about 150 kilometres (90 mi) to the east-southeast. The currents of the two oceans meet at the point where the warm-water Agulhas current meets the cold water Benguela current and turns back on itself—a point that fluctuates between Cape Agulhas and Cape Point.
When following the western side of the African coastline from the equator, however, the Cape of Good Hope marks the point where a ship begins to travel more eastward than southward. [source : Cape of  Good Hope on wikipedia]

Cape Point, Cap de Bonne-Espérance,  Afrique du Sud 

Le cap de Bonne-Espérance est un promontoire rocheux sur la côte atlantique de l'Afrique du Sud. par 34°21′26″S 18°29′51″E à l'extrémité de la péninsule du Cap située au sud de la ville du Cap et qui ferme à l'ouest la False Bay (traduction anglaise du terme signifiant « fausse baie » ou Valsbaai en afrikaans).

Le cap de Bonne-Espérance n'est pas le point le plus au sud de l'Afrique ni le point de division entre les océans Atlantique et Indien. Le point le plus méridional est le cap des Aiguilles (Agulhas) plus au sud. Cependant, lorsque l'on suit la côte depuis l'équateur, le cap de Bonne-Espérance marque le point psychologiquement important où on commence à voyager plus vers l'est que vers le sud. Addo Elephant National Park, a big five reserve, is situated 72km by road from Port Elizabeth (Eastern Cape, South Africa). Established in 1931 to save 11 Elephants on the brink of extinction. The park has proved to be very successful and currently houses more than 450 elephants and a large number of other mammals (and ostriches as viewed in this video)

Addo Elephant Park, a sanctuary for a wide range of South Africa's Wildlife, is located in the 120 000 ha of land in the thick bushveld of the Sundays River, in the Eastern Cape.

The park is the third largest one in South Africa.

Le Parc national des Éléphants d'Addo (en : Addo Elephant National Park) est un parc national dédicacé aux éléphants d'Afrique, situé au nord de Port Elizabeth, Cap-Oriental en Afrique du Sud.

Le parc fut fondé en 1931, suite aux efforts de Sydney Skaife, pour offrir un sanctuaire aux 11 éléphants rescapés de la région. Il accueille désormais plus de 450 éléphants, ainsi que de nombreux autres mammifères (et des autruches comme on peut voir dans cette vidéo)
